Best Answer

My best bet is a slipped disc or similar causing impingement to the nerve root.
It is common to have effects posterior and anterior (front and back) or in this case, lower back and stomach - at the same time. Unfortunately sciatic nerve problems can commonly cause nausea and headaches and fatigue. The medical system / research is still lacking in this area stillafter so many years, symptoms and numbers affected. You should seek a proper assessment and get some releif by traction or a TENS machine.

There are unmistakable symptoms for the sciatic nerve acting up. In many cases, the lower bum and leg will "give out" and you will be left limping in pain for a few days. This can be relieved by ice packs and a heating pad in alternation thirty minute intervals. Small achy, stabbing pains are also felt in minor situations, which can be dealt with by Motrin.
