WW2 happened because Japan attacked China and the League of Nations did nothing. Italy attacked Ethiopia and nobody did anything again. Then Germany began it's conquest of Europe, and took more and more until it invaded Poland on Sept. 1, 1939 which started WW2 when England and France declared war on Germany.
