Crank position sensor could be the problem. Worth looking into.

There could be many reasons why there is not spark in a car. The battery could be dead, the wiring could be bad, or the alternator or solenoid could be bad.
There is a break in the electric power trail to the plugs. More than likely there is corrosion on the distributor cap where the points of metal connect.
