The window lock is faulty. It happened on my Jeep and i replaced the driver's dorr control module and it worked just fine...until that one broke too.
Make sure the window lock button is not engaged on the drivers door. If the button is not engaged then there is a short on the window lock switch. The easiest way would be to add another potentiometer (of the same rating) in series with the master volume control.
in my trail blazer i took the whole switch assembly apart and discovered that a miny diode had fried. It is a matter of replacing the switch assembly.

you need to replace the window master switch
Because the master control on the drivers door has separate areas for all windows. Start by checking power feeds at the drivers door switch.
more than likely you will have to replace the drivers side master switch
Power windows I assume. Check the fuse. If it is still good, it is probably the drivers side master switch that is bad.
If they both don't work, check the fuse. Under the dash on the drivers side. Could be a problem with the master control switch on the drivers door? I've had to replace the window regulators and both door switches, one at a time, never both at the same time.
there are 3 control units.1 behind the drivers side fuse panel,1 behind the passenger side fuse panel and the last is on the master power window switch control in the drivers door.
