A senior citizen.
Most people don't bother with terms refering to the decade of people at this age, as it has become very common for people to reach their sixties and beyond. However, since people who reach 100 are called centenarians (from the Latin for 100) people in their sixties would be Sextenarians. The term, however, is not used.
You don't call them anything or classify them. Who a person is more important than age. Most people who are 60 are from the "boomer" generation. One of the things you don't know is that the term "teen" or "teenager" was not in use until 1939, so before that time you were either a baby, child, or an adult. Wouldn't it be nice if we didn't label people? Age discrimination happens because of labels being put on people.
