All production was still in germany. And it would take alot of power to invade all those countries just to invade the USSR
Germany wanted to ensure its military was free to invade Poland. The USSR, for its part, annexed the western side of Poland and the Baltic countries.

The USSR broke up in 1991 into 15 separate countries. They would all have been 1 single socialist country prior to that.

Hitler also invaded Poland along with many other countries! Hitler didn't invade Germany. The Nazis invaded Poland, France, and the USSR. This is after they annexed Austria and the Sudetenland of then Czechoslovakia.
To make USSR think that Hitler wouldn't invade USSR. But Hitler did invided USSR.
