America and Germany.
Argentina in 1982
to dumb it down a lot. argentinia wanted these islands cos "theyre in our area of influence" and Britain wanted to cling on to the last scraps of its empire so they went to war over it as i said. dumbed down
Argentina went to war with the United Kingdom in 1982 for control over the Falklands Islands, (Malvinas). The Argentine junta did not expect a military response from Britain who was seen, in the wake of the loss of empire, to be a broken back power. However the forceful response of the Thatcherite government, and the application of superior naval power, liberated the islands and ultimately brought by Galtieri's government.

THE ISLANDS
because since the England and Europe and the Netherlands France Spain where all colonizing and i most likely many more countries. But the countries and islands they went to did not agree with changing religions and the clash of cultures and spread of disease and so on. So the countries that they went to and of course probably told there allies so on place start fighting and the on there countries jump in................
the effects that the Falkland's war had on Argentina and the United Kingdom was very devastating for both countries because they both lost Friends they saw there Friends get shot and blown up in front of there faces, also for the families at home as well some of the families might have lost there own son, daughter, brother, sister, mother ect... even though Argentina eventually surrendered and the United Kingdom won both countries still went through a lot. Since the project is a biopic of former British prime minister Margaret Thatcher, chances are "The Iron Lady" is being filmed in the United Kingdom. The movie, a co-production of Pathe and BBC Films, takes place in 1982 when the UK and Argentina went to war over the Falkland Islands. The movie reunites Streep with her "Mamma Mia!" director, Phyllida Lloyd.
