Germany has a history of invading other countries. On the 15th of March 1939, Germany invaded Sudetenland which was part of Czechoslovakia. They would later invade the entire Czechoslovakia later in the 1940s.

There was never a real date the pact was supposed to last. Stalin knew that Germany would invade the Soviet Union, but he hoped they would invade some time around 1942 so that he could bring up his army in time.

Depending on what you mean, I'm guessing that it's Poland that they invaded first, or otherwise it's one of the countries that Germany had lost because of the Versailles Treaty, that they demanded to have returned or would start war. This could also be Russia. Please be more specific.
