No country currently has a species of hawk as its national animal. However, North Korea is the only country that has a species of hawk as its national bird, the northern goshawk (Accipiter gentilis).

Indonesia's national bird is the Javan hawk-eagle (Nisaetus bartelsi); however, this bird is not generally considered a true hawk as it is not a member of the genus Accipiter.
