The countries that have maintained neutrality throughout many wars are Sweden, Switzerland, Liechtenstein, Nepal, Bhutan and Brazil. There may be more,but I am not aware of them.
George Washington was the one who introduced the foreign policy of neutrality as stated in President Washington Farewell Address.
Swedish neutrality refers to Sweden's policy of neutrality in armed conflicts, which has been in effect since the early 19th century. The policy originated largely as a result of Sweden's involvement in the Napoleonic Wars during which over a third of the country's territory was lost
neutrality. This means that the country strives to remain impartial and not align itself with any specific side or take part in any military actions or alliances related to the dispute. Neutrality allows the country to focus on maintaining peaceful relations with all parties involved and prioritize diplomatic solutions.

A principle that might best describe the first 100 years of foreign policy could be nationalism. Throughout history, people?æhave focused on strengthening their forces, and showing an allegiance to their country.?æ
