Russia.Germany and Russia both agreed not to fight and was going to both get half of Poland after taking it over.but once Germany swept France then Germany didnt really have to worry about fighting on two fronts like in ww1.so then they decided to go against there treaty and attack russia.so at first russia was germanys allie.but then Germany attacked it so the answer is RUSSIA
