Most of Canada's trade is with the United States.

This is very logical because the US and Canada share a border, making it very easy for trucks to travel between countries to deliver various imports and exports, and because the US economy is extremely large - still the largest economy in the world, although China is catching up - and Canada would naturally want to benefit from the great economic opportunities that the US economy presents. The US in turn benefits from Canadian resources.
