Tide pools (also tidal pools or rock pools) are rocky pools by oceans that are filled with seawater. Tide pools can either be small and shallow or large and deep. The small ones are usually found far back on the shore and the large ones are found nearer to the ocean. Tide pools are formed as a high tide comes in over a rocky shore. Water fills depressions in the ground, which turn into isolated pools as the tide retreats. This process, repeated twice a day, replenishes the seawater in what otherwise might be a stagnant pool. Many types of organisms live in these pools such as starfish, crabs, and sea urchins.Source: http://www.answers.com/rockpools?gwp=11&ver=2.3.0.609&method=3
Tidal movement produces energy when tidal generators are placed in areas where the movement of the tide is dramatic. This movement causes the turbines in the generators to turn and produces motor movement.

When figuring out an answer to a question, scientists use the scientific method. the scientific method is a series of steps that start like this:Ask a questionDo some background reaserch on this questionForm a hypothesis, what the scientist thinks the answer might beDo some experiments to collect data on the question, it can turn out either way, in favor of the hypothesis or not in favor of it.Then they analyze what the experiments conclusion was. if it was not in favor of the hypothisis they then go back and form a nother hypothesis that conforms to the experiment. if it was correct they then do several more experiments to further prove the hypothesis.if all of these are in favor the scientist reports their results and the question is answered!
I've found some before at Parc-du-Haut-Fond. You turn a rock over and chances are that it has a fossil on it! (65%-70%) It's better to look when the tide is low because they are found mostly in the parts that get covered by the water when it's high tide. I have at least 10 with REALLY NICE fossils on them. I even found a rock with gems in it, but I lost it... :( Anyway, I hope you can find some! Good luck! :)
saratoga? Energy is what caused the tide to turn in favor of the Americans. This is taught in History.
