On the 4 cylinder its at the front of the motor On the V6 its on the passenger side of the motor , front cylinder
by counting the spark plugs from the front side of engine it will be the 2nd one, if your looking for ignition timing it will be the third one from front
the cylinder numbers are the following if you are facing the front of the car looking at the motor: 1 3 5 2 4 6 the firing order is 1,2,3,4,5,6
the cylinder numbers go in numerical order from front of the motor or pasenger side to drivers side 1-2-3-4 the cylinder numbers go in numerical order from front of the motor or pasenger side to drivers side 1-2-3-4
if you are looking at the motor it is the 1st one on the right
Driver's side head front to rear is 1-3-5 cylinders. The other head front to rear is 2-4-6 cylinders. A stright 6 cylinder engine front to back is 123456 cylinders.
Standing in the front of the engine, Right head front to rear are cylinders 1-3-5-7The left head front to back are cylinders 2-4-6-8
The number 4 cylinder is typically at the back of the motor while the number 1 cylinder is located at the front. This is done to minimize confusion and streamline the repair process.

If you're facing the motor from the front of the vehicle, the number 1 cylinder will be under the first coil to your left closest to the front bumper. (On the passenger side of the motor.) Then next to that will be numbers 2,3, and 4 on the same side. Cylinders 5 will be under the the first coil on the right closest to the front bumper. (On the driver side of the motor.) Then next to that will be numbers 6,7, and 8 on the same side.
There is a pad, right in front of the drivers side cylinder head. These numbers will tell you ev erything about your motor.
Passenger front cylinder is #1. Passenger rear cylinder is #4. Driver front is #5. Driver rear is #8. (And it's an engine not a motor.)
