The heat generated by the converter can back up into the engine and damage it. Cause it to overheat, blow a head gasket or damage the heads.
If this clotting occurs in the larger arteries, it results in major tissue damage.

One of the major causes of peripheral arterial disease in the developed world is diabetes mellitus. This condition, if blood glucose levels are not well controlled, is associated with peripheral arterial disease which characteristically effects the kidneys and the retina of the eye. Damage to the micro-circulation occurs as well as disease of the larger vessels. Such processes lead to damage of the peripheral nerves, leading to anaesthesia (total numbness).Elevated serum levels of LDL-Cholesterol are also associated with damage to the peripheral arteries. Other causes include tobacco smoking. One of the most important causes of Peripheral Artery Disease is said to be Atherosclerosis which mainly occurs when the fatty deposits build up in the walls of your artery and as a result could reduce the blood flow in the body. The least common cause of Peripheral Artery Disease is said to be blood clotting in the arteries, injury to the limbs.

If the earthquake occurs on land - the highest damage occurs at the epicentre (the point at which the quake starts). If the quake begins at sea - most damage is caused at coastal regions from tidal waves.

The oxygen sensor reports live information about the engine's air/fuel mixture to the powertrain control module, (Computer). This information is used primarily to help calculate fuel delivery to the engine, which changes continuously while it is running. If the engine is running lean, the powertrain control module will sense this from the oxygen sensor's signal and increase the air/fuel mixture to the engine. Conversely, just the opposite occurs when the engine begins to run rich. On OBDII-equipped vehicles, the sensors are also used to help determine the efficiency of the catalytic converter. The powertrain control module does this by comparing the signal of the sensor located at the inlet of the catalytic converter with the signal of the sensor located at the outlet of the converter.

Indicates a fault with the camshaft position sensor circuit. Either the sensor itself, or the wiring for it is faulty. If it occurs after replacing heads or engine assembly, check to make sure it is plugged in completely and that no damage was done to wiring harness.
