There are no plans for the release of any film 'Titanic 2'. The original 1997 film was based upon a fictional love story on board the ship, and was an entirely self-contained tale. It ended with there being no more to be said.
CORRECTION: When you said Titanic 2, I thought were referring to a sequel to the movie, not the replica of the actual ship that's being built! A replica of the original Titanicis being built by Australian billionaire Clive Palmer, which will be 98% the same as the original other than being 4 metres wider, having an extra deck for sightseeing, and obviously having improved safety features plus air-conditioning in the cabins.
It will be built in China, and work is due to start at the end of 2012. How it will be powered is as yet unknown- the original Titanic had coal-fired engines, which had become all but obsolete by WW2. It would still be possible for the replica to have these, but it would not be very environemntally friendly, and feeding the boilers would have to be done automatically- there's no way that anybody nowadays would be permitted to work in the filthy, dark, stinking conditions that the stokers and firemen of 1912 had to endure.
