There are two Possum Day possibilities.

Actually the Beverly Hillbillies episode 'Possum Day', first aired on 13 October 1965 was not the first Beverly Hillbillies episode to deal with Possum Day, but rather a re-visiting of the idea. The original Possum Day episode was 'Hair-Raising Holiday' from the second seaon, first aired 2 October 1963. This would suggest that the Beverly Hillbillies Possum Day was a holiday somewhere around early to mid October.
