You didn't specify the coin's denomination, but I assume that you're referring to Lincoln cents because those dates span the issue years for "wheaties".
The key dates are:
* 1909-S * 1909-S with the designer's initials VDB on the reverse * 1914-D (but beware of counterfeits) * 1922 with no mint mark (actually minted in Denver but the m/m is missing due to a filled die) * 1931-S
