It changes every month. use a lunar calender to fing out
I think aboutr a month
it takes 27 days so one month
No - it takes about 2 weeks to go from a new moon to a full moon - then 2 more weeks to go from a full moon, to a new moon again. 4 weeks total - that's why it's called a "month" - it comes from the word "moon" ---- The periodic variations in the geometry of the Earth-Moon-Sun system are responsible for the phases of the moon, which repeat every 29.5 days, thus from new to full moon takes half this time
Picture the moon moving around the earth in its orbit once a month. ================================================ At one time of the month, the sun, moon, and earth are lined up like this: Sun Earth Moon The people on the back side of the earth are looking straight at the fully-lit side of the moon, so they see a Full Moon. ============================================ At another time of the month, the sun, moon, and earth are lined up like this: Sun Moon Earth Anybody on the front half of the earth can look toward where the moon is, but even if they do, they don't see anything, because they're looking at the side of the moon where the sun isn't shining and it's dark. This is the time of New Moon.
A full cycle - e.g., from full moon to full moon - is about 29 1/2 days. From new moon to full moon is half that time.A full cycle - e.g., from full moon to full moon - is about 29 1/2 days. 30 days from the New moon to the full moon, so approximately one month.
yes
As far as I know, there are full and partial eclipses of the full moon and every other moon phase. It all depends on position and timing of the moon and the planet or star that eclipses it. Full or partial eclpise can only occur at Full Moon.

The naming of the full Moons originated with the Native Americans - each full Moon had a name so they could keep track of the seasons. Because December is when winter starts to really bite and the cold weather starts to take hold, the full Moon was called the Full Cold Moon (it was also known as the Full Long Nights Moon). Some other names are: Full Snow Moon (February), Full Strawberry Moon (June), Full Harvest Moon (October). More information can be found at the related link.
