There is no prescribed number of days. The family, for the most part, decides as there may be family members who have to travel a long distance for the funeral mass. Also, no funerals or weddings are allowed during certain solemn seasons (eg: Easter Triduum) and generally not held on Sundays or on other Solemnities such as All Saints Day, Christmas, the Solemnity of the Blessed Virgin (January 1) etc.
