There are a couple of animals that would have a well developed cerebellum. One of these animals is the human.
Animals have developed several ways to escape from predators. Running is one way, most animals will run from danger. Fighting is another. Teeth and claws often deter small predators from getting a meal. Camouflage is used to hide from those animals that would do others harm, fawns are spotted when born for just that purpose. Still others have developed natural defenses such as toads who urinate bad tasting liquid and skunks who smell really bad.
