Amelia Earhart was not, strictly speaking a College Graduate. She did receive various award documents and medal, etc such as the U.S. Distinguished Flying Cross (first woman and only civilian pilot at the time to win this badge), French Legion of Honor, Gold medal of the National Geographic Society, (Civil, of course), Romanian Medal for Aeronautic merit- this presented by Queen Marie and only occasion the Monarch met Amelia Earhart. Almost certainly they discussed a relative of Queen Marie- namely, Anastasia Nicolaievna Romanov. There were other domestic and foreign honors and quite possibly honorary diplomas or similar from Purdue University one of the sponsors of the Electra Project.
As far as is known she was NOT a College Graduate though she was qualified as a Nurses Aide having taken courses at Columbia and possibly some (Field) work at Columbia-Presbyterian hospital . She did work in Veterans" Hospitals during the war, this bringing her into contact with airmen, so the story goes.
