There is no government agency that hires people to take care of their own family members.
if there is evidence suggesting behavioral changes in the elderly person when the caretaker is present. Additionally, elderly abuse can be possible if there are delays between injuries and treatment
Definitions(from Texas Human Resources Code, Section 48.002) Abuse is "(A) the negligent or willful infliction of injury, unreasonable confinement, intimidation, or cruel punishment of an elderly or disabled person with resulting physical or emotional harm or pain, or (B) sexual abuse, including any involuntary or nonconsensual sexual conduct that would constitute an offense under Section 21.08, Penal Code (indecent exposure) or Chapter 22, Penal Code (assaultive offenses), committed by the person's caretaker, family member, or other individual who has an ongoing relationship with the person."Exploitation is "the illegal or improper act or process of a caretaker, family member, or other individual who has an ongoing relationship with the elderly or disabled person using the resources of an elderly or disabled person for monetary or personal benefit, profit, or gain without the informed consent of the elderly or disabled person."Neglect is "the failure to provide for one's self the goods or services, including medical services, which are necessary to avoid physical or emotional harm or pain or the failure of a caretaker to provide such goods or services.
Since an elderly person is changing in their body. It breaks down over time and they are not able to do so much anymore. Therefore depend on there family to take care of them, just how one day they took care of you when you were small and incapable of doing a lot. Each family has their own way of dealing with the situation. Very seldom are both spouses alive when an elderly person needs help looking after themselves. A lot also depends on how intact the elderly person's mental capacity may be. When a parent is kept at home (either their own or with another family member), it can be a drain on the energy of the caretaker and sometimes on the family's financial resources. It is extremely difficult emotionally to place a family member in an institutional setting but can sometimes be necessary when the physical demands of care are beyond the family members strength or skill. The more incapacity of the elderly, the more strain there is on the family.
It is considered neglect when a caretaker deprives an elderly person of the necessary care needed in order to avoid physical or mental harm
I believe that an Iamfam family member can't die unless you don't do anything to that person.

A family member cannot change a person's will, nor does anyone need to consent. Only a person can change their own will. If the person changes their will, and family believes that they were not of sound mind at the time, they can challenge that will when it is read.
person has the right to rescue a family member who is being attacked
If the family member is alive and does not choose to tell you, you cannot find out what is in that person's will. If the family member has died and the will has been filed for Probate, the will is a public record available from the records of the court where the will was filed.
