Some cameras come with a lead that will plug into the camera and the computer and, by using Pictbridge software, allow the pictures to be transferred directly yo the computer or the printer. Or you can do what I do which is to remove the memory card and stick it into a card reader which is plugged into a USB port of the computer and read the files just as if they were on another hard disc.
A device that can take pictures and output them to your computer....
It is an input device because you are inputting pictures from the camera to the computer. It could also be considered an output device since it can display the pictures on its LCD display.
Depends on what kind of device. Digital Cameras have memory cards that store pictures digitally, like files on a computer. You can then transfer that stored image to other devices that are comparable. Do you have a specific device in mind?

It is an input device. Just as a scanner would be an input device to a computer.
A device that will scan a paper into a computer so that it is in digital form.
1) Connect the digital camera to your computer using the USB cable that came with it. 2) You will find a new drive letter in My Computer for the memory card your camera is using. 3) Select the drive and locate the file for the photo you want to print. 4) Open up the file for the photo and select the Print option. Note: A printing device has to be set up with the software that came with your computer.
A digital camera does not put Any "Device" into a computer. A digital camera acts as a storage device and an output device, it transfers jpeg and other similar files to computers as well as mp4 and other movie files.
plug device in computer. find the file
Depends from what device. A typical digital camera will plug into the computer via a usb cable. If your computer is running windows xp, a new drive will appear into My Computer, and you can then browse your computers and copy/paste them into other locations. Depends from what device. use USB.... A digital camera is usually connected to a computer via a USB cable, or by using a cable supplied by the camera maker, so pictures can be downloaded from the camera and saved to the computer's hard-drive. A camera may have a removable memory card that can be removed from the camera and inserted into a memory card reader.
A digital camera is an input device because it captures information and stores it on the device via the memory card(which is a storage device).
