Anne had a good relationship with her father, occasionally strained by the typical "wanting to grow up too fast" complaints most kids her age would have when not allowed to do something. She and her father were very similar in a lot of ways - and both of them realized that.

But - Helen Keller's demons were the inability to see, hear or speak, which (with Anne Sullivan's help) she was assured of overcoming. Anne Frank's demon was the evil force of Naziism, which eventually resulted in her death - before she had ever had the chance to grow up. Who struggled more, indeed.
