Chanel designed boxy style clothes that required no corset; she chose fabrics that flowed over the body, like jersey and tweed. Her skirt/dress lengths were short; her pants ranged from slim to bell bottom cut. We still wear clothes today that owe their existence to the wonderful mind of Chanel.
