I am not sure which war you refer to. The French and Indian War or the American Revolution? If you rewrite your question to state what you are looking for I will be glad to give you an answer.
About 20 years before the American Revolution, George Washington had fought on the side of the British in the French and Indian War.
Prior to that date the USA had been a colony of England, and it took a while after the American Revolution for the USA to appoint it's first President; George Washington.
I believe George Washington was a successful, young officer in the French and Indian War before the Revolution. One history teacher I had described George Washington as 'almost obsessed with duty' in the military and later as president. Other than that, I know he married well to wealthy Martha Washington before the Revolution. Basically, he was a soldier all his life, and then president at the end of his life. Hope this helps. Also, Washington was a military Engineer and Land Surveyor, and surveyed throughout much of the Colonies.
he was a general in the American revolutionary war.
He led the American Revolution against the tyranny of England's George III.
He owned a plantation and was a very rich man before he became the commander of the army in the revolution and had been married many years before the revolution.
