I am not sure but among the Males there were Brass tokens- about the size of a Silver dollar with scout sayings inscribed and the Fleur de Lis- these were not restricted to BSA members ( not in any sense a merit badge), but were sold as souvenirs at the Boy Scout Museum in then, *it is no longer there)- New Brunswick, NJ. the idea was to turn over the position of the coin when having completed one"s Good Deed for the day- one good turn deserves another. Possibly called a Good-Turn or deed coin. Kids used them as search targets when swimming at the YMCA also.

Yes, Junior Girl Scouts go to camp. It depends the guidelines set by their local council, but they usually can do short one or two night troop camping trips. Most resident camps also have camps for Girl Scout Juniors that can be for several days or a week.
100 loaves of bread will be needed for 120 boy scouts in 18 days

It might be a strange answer but some religious groups! Some of the powers-that-be felt that excessive religious tolerance was a liability and angled off against any even potentially interfaith youth groups, for example the Y.M.C.A. They may have extended this to the Girl Scouts when it was in its early days.
Well, I was a eagle scout & from my experience of boy scouts I would have to say that boy scouts are harder than girl scouts. In boy scouts you have to go to camp outs that are sometimes more than a week long , with girl scouts you have to maybe sometimes go on a camp out that may last at the most 2 days. This doesn't even include the physical requirements a boyscout has to have to make it to a higher rank such as eagle, so i would have to say boy scouts would be harder. Another perspective: their missions are very different, so it's hard to compare how difficult they are. Girl Scouts progress in leadership skills and plan their own programming as they get older. Boy Scouts also plan program, but it appears that most of the content is set up by the national association. While the path to Eagle Scout or the Gold Award is a rigorous one, not all scouts pursue these goals.
Girl Scouts and Boy Scouts of France was the first scouting association founded in France in 1911. Nicolas Benoit is considered the discoverer of Scouting in France. The unity of the Girl Scouts and Boy Scouts of France lasted a very short time (five days), and, due to issues regarding secularism, the group split into three scouting groups. Between 1911 and 1923, seven scouting groups are created in France, including the Guides de France (GDF) in 1923. In 2004, Scouts and Guides of France from France merged in a single movement: Scouts and Guides of France (SGDF). Today Le Scoutisme Français participates in programs and activities of WOSM and the WAGGGS . It is a partner of the French administration in developing training and regulations of the camps and Scouting activities.
For many years, Girl Scout uniforms were either dresses or skirts and blouses. In the early days of Girl Scouting, if the girls were going to do an activity which required them to wear pants, it could not be in public. In order to play basketball, Juliette Gordon Low had curtains put up around the basketball court so that, when the Girl Scouts wanted to play basketball, they could pull the curtain shut. That way, the girls could wear their "bloomers" and play basketball without getting into trouble for wearing pants in public. Bloomers: a divided garment women wore on the lower body. In the early 1900's, they had "athletic" bloomers, skirt-less baggy knee-length trousers, fastened to the leg a little below the knees and worn for athletic activities such as basketball.
Nothing happens really becauce boy scouts might sound strict but it's really a 7 year summer camp now a days.
The Early Days was created in 1980.
