God is light=energy. During the six days of Creation, He utilized/expended/gifted His energy to effect Creation. For example, light ionized hydrogen to kick-start the Big Bang in the exact location of Earth; burning the hydrogen as super-hot plasma, producing all the elements present in the Universe, when cooled down generating life sustaining water-the watery planet. Creating all the stars/celestial bodies to fill the Universe-likewise required an energy source, which is God. By the seventh day, even God had to take rest. ( jgd-2022]
