Ezekiel was told to "prophecy over them". We're not sure what that consisted of, but it must have been powerful.
the prophet, Ezekiel saw the vision. God sent Ezekiel the vision.
That is the subject of one of the chapters in Ezekiel (ch.37).
Ezekiel. See Ezekiel chapter 10.
Ezekiel chap 37 has two main divisions The Vision of the Valley of Dry Bones (37:1-14) The Reunification of Israel and Judah (37:15-28) In the first section 37:1-8 Ezekiel saw the dry bones of Israel and Judah in a valley. He was ordered to prophesy to the bones that they would come to life. The first time he spoke the Word of God, the sinews, flesh and skin came upon the bones. The second time he prophesied to the wind or breath, and the breath came into the bodies. This pictured the national restoration of Israel. This could be a picture the regeneration of any unbeliever. There must be the word of the Lord (v. 4) and the Spirit (breath) of God (v. 9). Not so easy to get an application from the second section.

The definition of being a prophet is one who speaks of divine things to people so all the real prophets heard or saw visions of God in one way of another. For example, Moses heard God speak in the burning bush, and Ezekiel saw a vision.
When Ezekiel was called to be a prophet, he saw a spirit up in the sky. The spirit reached out what appeared to be his hand and lifted Ezekiel up by his hair.Answer:He saw a prophecy of the Divine Presence on a throne, called the divine chariot (Ezekiel ch.1).
