Jesus didn't say anything was the seed to the kingdom of heaven. He did say (talking about the parable of the sower) that the seed was the "word of God"

Luk 8:11 "Now the parable is this: The seed is the word of God.

And this seed comparison:

Matthew 13:31New King James Version (NKJV) The Parable of the Mustard Seed31 Another parable He put forth to them, saying: "The kingdom of heaven is like a Mustard Seed, which a man took and sowed in his field, Another Answer:

In the thirteenth chapter of Matthew's gospel we find what are known as the seven parables of the kingdom. In three of the parables the Lord speaks of seed, and in every parable in means something different.

In the first parable, Jesus himself explains, comparing various types of people receiving the word of the kingdom to various types of ground receiving the seed, the seed here is clearly the word of the kingdom or the gospel.

In the second parable, the parable of the tares and the wheat, the Lord is even more direct , Matthew 13:38 - "the good seed are the children of the kingdom; but the tares are the children of the wicked one"

In the third parable of the kingdom, Jesus likens the kingdom of heaven to a mustard seed that a man planted in the field, but there is no explanation given. From the previous parables we can tell that the sower is Jesus Christ, the field is the world. We are not told explicitly what exactly the mustard seed is, but it is something that Jesus planted in the world, and it grew to an enormous size. It is my personal view that since mustard seed is used to describe faith (Mat 17:20, Luk17:6) and an illustration the Lord gives of himself in John 12:24 as a grain of wheat that falls into the ground and dies in order to produce much fruit, that the mustard seed here is faith in the vicarious death of Jesus Christ from which faith stem all the branches of this tree.

What did Jesus say was hard for a rich man to do?

Matthew 19:23, 24 - Then Jesus said to His disciples, "Assuredly, I say to you that it is hard for a rich man to enter the kingdom of heaven. And again I say to you, it is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to enter the kingdom of God." [NKJV]

Where did Jesus refer that the kingdom of heaven is like?

no one really knows what it will be or is like. some people have something called a NDE (near death experience). it means you dye and your heart stops beating and you may even be dead for a couple of days or something. most people who have them wake up and tell of how an angel came and sat with them, or how an angel took them to look at heaven, then took them home. most of these people try to explain what they saw, but have trouble because they say it was so magnificent. like i said, no one living really knows what it's like, but we will know one day... hope i helped. :)

Where does the Bible say that Jesus invited everyone to heaven?

A:The Bible is ambiguous as to Jesus' wishes on this. In Matthew 18:3 ('And said, Verily I say unto you, Except ye be converted, and become as little children, ye shall not enter into the kingdom of heaven.') Jesus says that people can go to heaven by being converted. But in Mark 4:12 ('... lest at any time they should be converted, and their sins should be forgiven them.') Jesus explains that in speaking in parables he is being careful not to let the undeserving become converted. Taken together, these passages might mean that heaven is not for everyone.

What did Jesus and His desciples preach?

It was mostly on love and forgiveness, and repent of your sin. The disciples said more on Jesus Christ. St. Matthew 4:17 From that time Jesus began to preach, and to say, Repent: for the kingdom of heaven is at hand. Jesus preached the kingdom of heaven; how to get there, how to become one of its subjects, what it is like here in this world, the nature and character of its king, how its subjects should behave toward one another, how its subjects should behave toward non-subjects, benefits and duties of its subjects, etc.
