Marie Curie discovered that by taking bitumen tar, and breaking it down
into seperate components thereby eliminating substances ,
the end result was to produce a 1 substance or element.
this was Radium
and it was seen to emit light.
The emission of light was interprated as an example of natural energy.
the conclusion from this was that a substance or element
has a form of energy within it and the energy can be derived from within the substance.
the energy given off, in the form of light showed that it was a pure element.
in certain types of radioactive decay processes. it is not electromagnetic radiation.
No the element Mercury is not Radioactive. None of the mercury ordinarily found in nature is radioactive. Like all elements, there are synthetic radioactive isotopes of mercury.
part of actinium radioactive
Studying residues of uranium ores Marie Curie and Pierre Curie found that these residues are more radioactive than uranium; they attributed this radioactivity to unknown elements. They isolated these elements and named these elements polonium and radium.
Polonium was discovered by Marie Curie and Pierre Curie in 1898.
Those substances which are made of heavy metals are termed as radioactive substances. e.g. u-235...etc
that it causes cancer
Studying residues of uranium ores Marie Curie found that these residues are more radioactive than uranium; she attributed this radioactivity to unknown elements. She isolated these elements and named these elements polonium and radium.
There are no radioactive spiders. This is something from a movie, and has never happened. There is no way to find images of radioactive spiders.
radioactive, could be deadly, something to do with science, complicated, not if ur smart, if u really came all the way here to find 100 words on radiation then ur sad and should get a life.

Travel to Brazil. In Brazil there is a speacial wild animal that you may not be able to find information about online. It's vibrant feathers and fur are coloured (very rare among animals I might add) Cyan, and A hot pink colour. If yu kill one of these rare endangered animals from brazil You can find 6 different amazingly radioactive substances/elements in its body. What is hard about doing this is that because it is houses so many radioactive substances it is very dangerous to be around (take great caution). The other fact that makes this so hard is that it is highly endangered and will be hard to find. Good luck! (you will probably need it!) I myself am going on a journey to find this beast. Ill send a pic in maybe 27 months. (ps. When i said endangered I meant there are approximately only 12 left on the entire planet.)
Radium was discovered by Marie Curie, Pierre Curie and G. Bemont also in 1898. Studying residues of uranium ores Marie Curie and Pierre Curie found that these residues are more radioactive than uranium; they attributed this radioactivity to unknown elements. They isolated these elements and named these elements polonium and radium.
