Prophet Mohammed (peace be upon him) is a messenger from All'aah ,Who He (All'aah) revealed the Holy QURAN To(the last prophet:Mohammed (peace be upon him) by AngleJibril . Prophet Mohammed main feature could be that he was not revealed only for his tribe or region like other prophets but was for all mankind. The Quran was revealed to prophete Mohammed (peace be upon him) when he was 40 years old, the Quran was not revealed as a whole book as it also contain wizdom when there were crises and also Historic stories examples of All'aah's severe punishments of those opperessive to warn those who to come and also his gracefullness to those who deserve his mearcy, blessing and love. And Allah said in the Quran that we have desnded the Quran and We are to it to protect it (from any change)..and now The Quran after 1430 years have never been changed (edited.deleted )but their were slight changes in the language itself. So basically messenger Mohammed came with a message that there is only one God to be worshiped.

Muhammad brought the message of Islam to the people of Arabia, he also made the Islamic religion and Islam's Prophet.
Prophet Mohammed (PBUH) believed in one God; Allah SWT.

With that belief also comes the belief that there were 224000 prophets before him who tough the same message of oneness of Allah SWT.

Muslims believe that Jesus Christ was the greatest of the prophets below Muhammad. The cave was located on the mountain called Jabal An-Nour, which was located near Mecca. The angel Gabriel came to Muhammad in the year 610 B.C. and said, 'Recite', and Muhammad replied, 'I am unable to recite'.
