Thrice he said so and thrice Hazrat Jibril (AS) embraced him Then Hazrat Jibri (AS) revealed to him the First verses of the Holy Qur'an : Translation: "Read, Read in the name of thy Lord (Rabb) who created Man from a clot of congealed blood…"
It was a mysterious experience for Hazrat Muhammad (SAW). He was a bit confused. He came home and told his wife Hazrat Khudeejah (RAU) what had happened.
