The president has never said in any book that he is a Muslim, nor has he said it in any interview. Contrary to internet myths, Mr. Obama is not a Muslim; he is a Christian. But in his book "Dreams from my Father," he talked about his father's life-- his father was born a Muslim but left that religion and became an atheist. By the time President Obama was born, his father had no religion at all.
He was the senator of Illinois and wrote a book.
The President of the US is paid a salary. Barack Obama also has earnings from his book sales.
No. Iacocca's Where Have All The Leaders Gone? was published in 2007. It's an anti-Bush book and doesn't mention President Obama at all.
Barack Obama wrote the book ''Dreams from my Father.'' It was published in 1995 before he became president of the United States.
'The Audicity of Hope' is written by President Barak Obama
Of course not! Do you read a newspaper? A book? The Internet? He's alive!

In an attempt to smear Barack Obama it has been reported that he swore in on a Qur'an. This has been part of a larger attempt to demonize Obama among those who fear Muslims. The story is a complete fabrication. Minnesota Congressman Keith Ellison is the congressman who swore in on the Qur'an. Barack Obama is a Christian, and he took the Oath of Office on a Bible. During his presidential inauguration, he swore in on the Bible that Abraham Lincoln used for his first inauguration in 1861.
The bible is the book on which the president keeps his left hand and takes the oath.
Qur'an
Barack Obama was named after his father. It is not related to religion. His father was born in Kenya, where this is a common first and last name. His father was born into an Islamic family, and later became atheist. President Obama grew up away from his father, and has stated that he is a Christian. Basic answer, his name is based on region. It would be much like Micky O'Malley being a very Irish name, but not necessarily indicating Catholic.
Barack Obama Senior was never famous during his lifetime. A talented but troubled economist (with a drinking problem), he was later known for being the biological father of President Obama. He was not much of a presence in young Barack's life, something which continued to bother the future president for years. Barack Senior is the subject of the book "Dreams from my Father," in which President Obama tells about his journey to Africa to meet his late father's relatives and to try and understand why his father abandoned the family and never kept in touch.
