Queen Guinvere was the legendary wife of the equally legendary King Arthur. In Arthurian legends, she fell in love with Sir Lancelot and caused a rift within the Knights Of The Round Table and Arthur's reign at Camelot. She is (mythically) supposed to have retired to an abbey in the town of Amesbury, in the county of Wiltshire in England.
