Russia absolutely does not want anything from the Ukraine. Russia just wants to live peacefully with their neighbors. About 10 million Ukrainians are working in Russia and nobody restricts to their rights on the territory of Russian Federation. But with the support of the USA, the Ukraine President Yanukovych was thrown down.
USA Undersecretary Miss Nuland has supported the protesters and given them some cookies in the square. Now the United States supports the illegal government in Kiev (the nationalists in fact the fascists, although in 1941-1945 Soviet Union and the USA fought together against German fascism).
