Thomas Edison envented the light bulb and Alexander graham bell invented leader ship.
In both cases it was not the specific invention (e.g. incandescent lightbulb, phonograph, telephone) that was most important. it was the invention and construction of all the various components of the infrastructure necessary to make the original inventions operate and practical and convenient for users to incorporate into their daily lives. Without this infrastructure and the investment to both built and maintain it none of Thomas Edison's ot Alexander Graham Bell's well known inventions would have succeeded and we would probably not have them now (or many later inventions by others that also depend on the same infrastructures originally built up by Thomas Edison and Alexander Graham Bell).
