He was afraid of the 3 fates.
....
This is actually one of the greatest things in greek mythology. The 3 fates (Moirae) were the personification of destiny. As in greek mythology nothing is black and white, Zeus gave the power of destiny to the Moirae (what will a mortal do, when and how he will die) and they were his subordinates, but he couldn't override their will (even though he was king of the gods).
Also Zeus feared the rage of Gaea and Chaos. But the one he feared most was Hera, his wife.

Zeus did not want humans to have fire because he feared they would become too powerful and challenge the authority of the gods.
One god with a temper that people feared was the Greek god Zeus. Known as the king of gods, Zeus could unleash destructive storms and lightning bolts when angered, causing people to tremble in fear. His unpredictable nature and ability to inflict punishment made him a formidable and feared deity in Greek mythology.
Hera and a few other woman was with Zeus in the crime of being raped. Zeus and Hera gave birth to Athena but Zeus feared that she was going to take over his powers of being the number one god so Zues swallowed her.
Humans both feared and admired Zeus, because he was almighty and was the 'king' of the Gods. He had the ability to control lightning and weather, so people wanted to please him so he would take his anger out on them. When a lightning storm came, or just bad rain and clouds, etc., they feared that they had done something wrong to upset him and that he would take his wrath out on them.
Zeus was the youngest and strongest son of the King of Titans, Kronos. He was saved by his mother who feared Zeus would be eaten like his other siblings. He then slew Kronos and split his body into the sky and the earth.
The name of Zeus's mother is Rhea. She was a Titaness in Greek mythology and the wife of Cronus, who was Zeus's father. Rhea played a significant role in protecting her children from Cronus, who feared being overthrown by them.
