Ancient Greek girls stayed home and were taught to weave, cook, dance, sing, and play an instrument. They were not allowed to go to school unless the family was really rich. If they lived with a poor family, they worked in the fields all day. At age 16 they were expected to trow away their toys and get married to someone they didn't even know (well, they might of known them but that's not the point) girls dint leave the house unless they were slaves or for religious purposes. As a woman they would be the head of the slaves and bossed them around until the man got home and then they made dinner for them and got out of their way and avoided them the rest of the day then went to sleep.
