If I had to pick two things, though, I'd have to say that Berbers, Egyptians, Moroccans, Algerians, Libyans, Tunisians and Sudanese mostly share the Islamic faith, and that they are all stuck between the desert and the sea. To a lesser degree they share language, though Tuareg, Berber and Arabic speakers may have some difficulty communicating.
