Was the tree of life different from the tree of knowledge was it bad to eat from the tree of life what's the significance of the tree of life in the story of creation?

The tree of life is the same as the tree of knowledge. God forbade Adam and Eve to eat from the tree of knowledge, and Eve broke that rule. That is why we have sin. So yes, it is bad to eat from the tree.

What happened to the tree of life?

After Adam and Eve partook of the fruit, Jehovah God drove them out of Eden. At Genesis 3:24 it says: "So he drove the man out, he posted at the east of the garden of Eden the cherubs and the flaming blade of a sword that was turning continuously to guard the way to the tree of life." Did god put an angel outside the garden of eden?

God did put Cherubims guarding the way to the tree of life, in order to assure that Adam and Eve did not partake of the eternal life giving tree, while in their fallen (due to their sin) condition. God would not have been able to redeem the human race of their fallen nature by sending the Messiah, Jesus Christ, to pay for their sins with His life, had Adam and Eve partaken of the eternal life giving tree of life, in their fallen state. They would have been condemned with not hope of redemption as the eternal, but fallen, angels are. The Cherebim are a special class of spiritual beings that differ from regular angels, seemingly both in appearance and in job description. Theirs, seems to be the task of guarding and transporting the throne of God, that none come near.It was of this class of spiritual being, that Lucifer, originated. He was the Fifth Cherubim that surrounded the throne of God, the Cherubim that covereth as he is called. Of course he fell, when he decided he wanted to be like God, and He with 1/3 of the angels rebelled and were cast from heaven and he became Satan. That Cherubim were used to guard the way to the tree of life, speak to the importance of the task. There is a reason God used the more powerful Cherubim and not just regular angels to guard the way to the tree. This is surmising, but perhaps it was to not just keep Adam and Eve from the tree as it was to keep the eternal being, The Serpent, or The Devil from getting the fruit and giving it to Adam and Eve. Genesis 3:24 - So he drove out the man; and he placed at the east of the garden of Eden Cherubims, and a flaming sword which turned every way, to keep the way of the tree of life. (KJV)

Define tree of life?

The one tree in the Garden of Eden that Adam and Eve could not eat from. Eve then Adam both ate of the tree after Satan, in the form of a snake, told Eve that they would become like gods. Because they sinned God could not have them in his presence since he himself is holy, sinless, and he cast them out of the garden and set an angle guard so that they could not enter back in.

Why does God fear that Adam and Eve will try to eat from the Tree of Life?

A:Genesis 2:17 says that God placed a Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil in the middle of the Garden of Eden. By eating the fruit of this tree, Adam became god-like: (3:22) "now the man is become like one of us." Adam had become like the gods, except that he was still mortal. So that he would not now eat of the Tree of Life which God had also planted in the Garden of Eden, and thus become immortal, God sent Adam and Eve from the Garden and placed cherubim and a flaming sword to keep (block) the path to the Tree of Life (3:24).
