Why doesn't optimus bring ironhide back to life with the matrix?
Optimus pime doesn't bring back Ironhide with the matrix because he can't. when Ironhide died he gets shot by a bullet with acid and his body fell apart.

There was also a conflict in Transformers: Dark of the Moon the game where Ironhide shot Megatron and Megatron fell into a hole, Megatron later stated "He will pay for that"after he survived the fall in the hole. Later Megatron met Sentinel and told him to kill Ironhide and try to injure Bumble bee. In Transformers 3, Sentinel made a sorry face when pulling out his rust rifle after that he went for Bumble bee and try to shoot his spark as in the movie, each bullet that bumble bee dodge from Sentinel was either facing towards his head or his chess. During the battle between prime and Sentinel, Ratchet attacked Sentinel then went towards Bumble bee until Side Swipe interfared and cut Sentinel off and later went back to Ratchet. There is a possibility that if Ironhide was there, Optimus would have never lost his arm.
