When Jack said he didn't hunt, Piggy mocked him by saying that Jack couldn't hunt as he was just a boss. Piggy implied that Jack was incompetent and only good at giving orders, not actually participating in the hunting.

Jack didn't initially introduce himself, he simply asked "Where's the man with the trumpet?" It was only after Piggy babbled on about collecting names that he said, I quote... "Kids' names, " said Merridew. "Why should I be Jack? I'm Merridew."
That Jack was the one that thought of the idea of the beast and he was responsible for all the chaos that happened
They get captured by Jack and his tribe when they go with Piggy and Ralph to receive Piggy's stolen glasses. They are forced to become a part of Jack's tribe and sell out Ralph when they are searching for him across the island. They didn't want to, but they appeared to finally turn on to Jack's side.
When Piggy spoke out against the vote, which had gone in favour of a belief in ghosts, Jack told him, "You shut up, you fat slug." Jack then turned on Ralph and said "And you shut up! Who are you anyway?..." When Ralph protested that Jack was breaking the rules Jack shouted, "Bollocks to the rules! We're strong--we hunt! If there's a beast, we'll hunt it down! We'll close in and beat and beat and beat--!" Then he jumped off the platform and led the rest of the boys on to the beach were they began chanting and doing a 'pig dance.'

At the end of chapter 5: Beast from Water Piggy told Ralph how he felt about Jack, I quote... "He hates me. I dunno why. If he could do what he wanted--- you're alright, he respects you. Besides-- you'd hit him." Piggy also said... "I tell you what. He hates you too, Ralph---" And... "He can't hurt you: but if you stand out of the way he'd hurt the next thing. And that's me."
In "Lord of the Flies", the boys who were supposed to be tending the fire go on a pig hunt with Jack instead. A boat is seen on the ocean, but since the fire has gone out, there is no chance for rescue. Ralph and Jack get in an argument about this. Piggy joins in the argument and is struck in the face by Jack, breaking his glasses.
Piggy fears that if Jack becomes the leader, there will be chaos, violence, and a lack of order on the island. He believes that Jack's aggressive and impulsive nature will lead to further division and destruction among the boys.
Piggy explains to Ralph that Jack can be very dangerous to anyone who opposes his authority or challenges his leadership. Jack's thirst for power and control over the other boys on the island makes him a threat to anyone who stands in his way.
Ralph suggests a hunt for what Samneric saw, which is the "beast" they claimed to have spotted on the mountain. He wants to investigate the sighting to ensure the safety of the group and understand the perceived threat.
"Ralph stirred uneasily. Simon, sitting between the twins and Piggy, wiped his mouth and shoved his piece of meat over the rocks to Piggy, who grabbed it. The twins giggled and Simon lowered his face in shame." this is the whole paragraph.
