In Rome they traded allot of things with other countries such as food clothing furniture maybe even soldiers but Rome would take people of Egypt Greece or even maybe Australia and turn them into gladiators and Rome would give them money or food or maybe even villager's. Roman gladiators would fight anything he/she was told to fight such as animals lions tiger cheetahs Jaguar's people and sometimes they would fight to the death they would also fight on carriages against other people or animals jumping up at them so if you lived in Rome before BC and a little while after ad then you probably wouldn't of had a good life depending on what happened.
