Scribes were Egyptians who learned how to write hieroglyphs (ancient Egypt's Alphabet) for more than ten years in school. Once they have graduated they would become scribes and they will help their pharaoh by giving orders, checked results, kept track of records, and help to keep in charge of permissions. They would help making a will or arranging a marriage.(They also had to Eat the Paroahs Nails and hair for lunch).
