It was the goal of Great Britain's King George III, and the British Parliament, to send troops to fight in order to keep the ownership of the American Colonies, and the American Colonists.

So, the American Revolutionary War got underway. The British would win some battles in the war. However, with their enemies of France and Spain giving aid to the Americans, it would be just a matter of time before England would have to surrender, and grant independence to the nation that will always be known as the United States of America.

The British were fighting 3 other major wars at the same time of the Revoloutionary War, these 3 other wars had everything to gain and everything to lose for the British Empire,America had nothing for the British Empire to gain as it was to young of a country,so the British surrenderd and signed the treaty,then moved on to fight Napolean and the French Empire, Mongol Empire and the Japanese Empire, wich they won all 3. those 3 wars were far more significant to the British and the British Empire.
