A Cyclops is a Greek mythological giant that has one eye in the middle of their foreheads who feeds on humans and other meat. Odysseus the Greek hero is captured by one while sailing home to Ithaca in The Odyssey, a collection of stories made by the ancient Greek poet Homer.
well Cyclops are not a real living animal. i will, though this question is clearly not in need of an answer, tell you the truth. in greek/roman mythology, the cyclops were children of the first gods.their parents didnt like them much, sothe young cyclops were thrown into tartrus. the cyclops didn't do much. they simply waited to escape, and within mythology, i have never heard they escaped, except for one time, but they were thrown right back into tartus. and please, if you know whats good for you, do not base any school papers on the Percy Jackson Series. those books are only based on mythology!
Cyclops comes from Greek myth and is not real.
the whole "point" was to rescue grover from the cyclops. what did they "accomplish"? they found out where luke was( in a cruise ship), they found that Tyson was Percy's half-brother, and most of all, we found out annabeth's weakness. ( its very important to know about in the following books)
