A:
According to the Book of Exodus, the Israelites, who had previously been free settlers in Egypt, were enslaved because the pharaoh became alarmed at their growing number and the risk that the Israelites might one day seek to overthrow the Egyptian rule.
On the other hand, Ze'ev Herzog (Ha'aretz Magazine, 29 October, 1999) says that what archaeologists have learned from their excavations in the Land of Israel is that the Israelites were never in Egypt, did not wander in the desert, did not conquer the land in a military campaign and did not pass it on to the twelve tribes of Israel. He says the many Egyptian documents that we have make no mention of the Israelites' presence in Egypt and are also silent about the events of the Exodus. If the Israelites were never in Egypt, then of course they were never slaves for the pharaoh.
Exodus ch.1: they built storage-cities, they worked with bricks and mortar, and they worked in the fields.
Please note the Egyptians had slaves they were not slaves.
There must have been times when the ancient Egyptians were taken captive and made to work as slaves.
Egyptians were scribes, farmers, slaves, fishermen, and priests.
slaves :)
yes they did
They solved it with slaves. Jewish slaves. Jewish slaves did not build the pyramid
bread, onions and beer
by the help of slaves
with music and by killing slaves
Slaves
The Hebrews, Bnai Yisrael, Children of Israel, Hebrew Slaves, were the Slaves of the Egyptians.
Since they were slaves (in the end), whatever they were told to do.
They had medevil guntype weapons that would stun the animals. They soon feared the egyptians and were basically their slaves
no they did not they actually were proud of what they did and who they were weather they were slaves or kings, rich or poor they were all egyptians and proud of it to.
