Of course: The Aztec civilization, which was destroyed by the Spanish Conquistadores.
Teotihuacan was a major Mesoamerican city that flourished between the 1st and 7th centuries AD. It was one of the largest cities of its time, with impressive urban planning and monumental architecture. Teotihuacan was an important cultural and economic center in Mesoamerica, influencing later civilizations like the Aztecs.
Only to the Mayan, Olmec and Teotihuacan civilizations which were also located in Mesoamerica. There is much debate whether Aztecs knew about other American civilizations such as Incans (in Peru, South America). It is also very hard to believe they knew about civilizations such as Egyptians (Middle East) or Chinese (Asia).
Numerous important Ancient Civilizations developed in the Middle East. The most famous two were the Ancient Egyptians and the various Mesopotamian Civilizations (like the Sumerians, Akkadians, Babylonians, Assyrians, the Neo-Assyrians, and the Neo-Babylonians, etc.). There were also the Persian and Mede Empires, the Hittite and Lydian Anatolian civilizations, the Phoenicians, the Ancient Greek City States, the Israelites (divided between Israel and Judah), and the Arameans.
The Maya civilization flourished in present-day southern Mexico and Central America, known for their sophisticated hieroglyphic writing, mathematics, and astronomy. Teotihuacan, located in central Mexico, was a dominant city-state known for its monumental pyramids and urban planning. The Maya had city-states with decentralized governance, while Teotihuacan had a more centralized political structure.
The Incas, Mayans, and Aztecs were the big ones
